I thought of putting down what enthralls me about city Jaipur. Many people visit Jaipur and find it difficult to find a place to dine. Surprising it is, there are so many places that are hidden to a new traveler. The places that are located in streets offer so much taste and a time to rejuvenate. For all those people who know that food is next to cricket craze, I am going to list the places that I visited with my sweet & spicy wife and found their specialties.
I will start with Lassi. Gopi lassi, located at Raja Park, is renowned for its sweet and special Lassi. A thick lassi topped with cream and you get a spoon to eat cream before drinking the lassi. I think there is nothing more filling then this lassi. You might want to take a little wait and then hit a place to eat pyaaz kachori, a local spicy delicacy. The pyaaz kachori sold at Rawat Mishthan Bhandar near polo victory cinema will tickle your tastebuds. I presume you are already salvating with a desire to hit the road and get some pyaaz kachori.
I will continue with some more street joints in my next post...till then keep eating :)

Life is like that....
Sometimes your mood is going to affect how you feel about the world around you. Sometimes, you can change all that just by forcing yourself to grab the world by the throat and shaking it a little. Most times, life is what you make it.

CARS
Car is a machine with a meaning. It is the most sought after object on the planet after women. Every person wishes to buy a car at one time or the other. The more expensive the car equally more is the desire to purchase it.
I wish to buy a car that relates to my personality. The same is the reason why anyone who buys a car takes into consideration factors such as his personal style and inclination to high speed sports. I personally like suaveness and smoothness displayed by a car. A car with its persona speaks to you when it moves. That’s what I like about cars.
The best brands in the automotive business which sell the kind of cars that I like are Mercedes and BMW. Both Mercedes and BMW are German brands. A European sleekness is evident in both the products. There is also a slight bias towards these cars due to my reverence towards German engineering and quality.
With all my respect to females, there is a chance that I might choose car over a girl; only if it is Mercedes or BMW.

Best moment of childhood
I remember those moments vividly which involved a sense of adventure and meant going beyond the boundaries specified by the parents or teachers. Going into the background, I completed most of my school time at Udaipur, also known as city of lakes, in Rajasthan. My school was part of trust made by ancestors of the king of Udaipur. It was located right beside the city palace. Our school corridor and building had so much history behind it. For some moments, I was transferred back to those good old days of freedom and carelessness.
Few of the adventurous incidents that immediately sprang up in my mind were exploring the dungeons of city hall, bicycling into an unknown stretch which was very close to a jungle, putting up a fight with strongest bully in the class. These experiences may look like bit too small an adventure. But, I did find my heart pumping in those moments.
The best moment in childhood is the one when I along with friends decided to go for bicycling in evening. It was around 4 PM. My friend knew about this place which was behind the army barracks. There was this small jungle just on the opposite side of the lake close to the city palace. We in school always wondered what it would look like to go on other side. On that day, it was an opportunity since we had cycles and my friend knew this place as well. The time was perfect for an adventure.
We started on this unknown stretch and kept on bicycling for around hour and half. During this period, we had reached definitely quite far away from the city. We enjoyed the way and stopped over a bridge for a while. During the conversation, it came up that our friend has never been here and only reason he brought us here was to see the place. Then, he told us that he didn’t know about the way back either. It was already quite late by then. For a while, we had hard time finding the way back and the trip become an adventure as we asked people on the way and finally made our way to home.

Movie Critic - Dhoom 2
Well good movie from which we can say that bollywood is moving towards Hollywood. I hope this movie does get a lot of international audience. I should make a point that this movie is a complete marketing jig for Hrithik aka artist aka roshan. This Hri”thik” roshan has done a really awesome job and should be appreciated with open hearts. I think everybody gets their share of bad luck and less of good luck. Beginning with opening shot of movie, I guess overhere that director has little problem dealing with technical side of stunts. The presentation was more focused on removing scenes which cannot be picturised well rather than creating scenes which could have given movie a blast in the start. Please look at the rhyming part of my sentences. They are intentional. Now every single actor in this movie has an pre-thought entrance. I think this takes us further towards old style of movie making. Leaving all this stuff in mud, I was totally awed by Aish. My lovelly dovelly pupply puup. Please don’t try to make any sense of that. Aish needs to refine her acting. She seems to make no justice with that. Well director concentrated on making characters which were well-gelled with story. I didn’t appreciated story till now. Oh’I m sorry. The story was hollywoodish but should be appreciated for its movement and thrill. Lets see what all we have appreciated till now. Actors, director, story, starting scene and what else. Yes, the gizmos in the movie. Tell me how many in total. 1…2….3…4…5….6….7 yaaa there were many and I don’t know counting. The gizmos were good and I should warn there is position in making here. The technical assistance to director who can tell what all gizmos can be used in a movie. There is one useless character we are missing and that is “Ali”. He is good but too good for nothing. Well nothing like Circuit offcourse. We still have another actress in movie which is Reema who was ignored altogether for no particular reason. I guess director was pissed off with actresses. Also some ending comments on the end of movie that was quite lost somehow by the director. The writer of the movie has to be thrashed for such pathetic ending. He could have thought better if anybody can tell by looking at movie. Finally I guess movie is movie and we should take nothing personal in it. So cyonara.
Matherna Trip (Continued)
As usual for our weekend, me and my wife has planned a weekend travel to Matheran which is around 60-70 km from Pune. We have not decided for the final destination as we were confused about to choose between Matheran or Lonavala. We left from our home in our car around 4 pm in evening. We had to drop off our house rent at our agent's office so that caused a detour for about 10 minutes. After that we picked the older Pune-Mumbai highway passing through Chinchwad. The part of journey in Pune was slow and winding but as we touched the highway. We sped off in our high spirits. When we were about 1 hour away from Lonavala, we stopped at an Dhaba " Roadside restaurant in India " for snacks. I just thought of enquiring the waiter in that Dhaba about Lonavala. The reply was succinct and hilarious " Lonavala is seventeens kms from here and you could get any lodge over there". We laughed our hearts out on the use of word "seventeens". We decided to make it fast to Lonavala. But Lonavala does seem to tickle our taste so we asked about Matheran. Immediately we took off for Matheran. Till we reach the foot of mountain, everything is fine. We would suggest to have day journey while driving up towards Matheran. As we had lot of sharp turns and using preferably 1st gear. We reached Matheran using the longer way at about 8 pm in night. Rest in the next post.

Half-year Anniversary
Today is half-year anniversary of my marriage, as my wife is little upset. Guess why? I could not bring her gift. I was busy whole day making her happy. Now I am in a fix. Please don't send your toolbars. I can manage this situation with little ingenuity. I would take leave for my wife. shabbakhayir..
